One of the most common questions I get from new customers is: “How often should I actually have my windows cleaned?” It’s a fair question, and the honest answer is that it depends on a few things.
In my experience, 8 weeks is the right interval for the vast majority of homes in Swindon and across Wiltshire. Whether you’re in Old Town, out on the newer estates like Wichelstowe, or a bit further afield in Highworth, Wroughton or Royal Wootton Bassett, an 8-weekly clean is what keeps windows consistently looking their best. It’s the cadence I’ve settled on after years of doing this, frequent enough to stay on top of the dirt, without overcleaning.
8-weekly is what I offer as standard. I’ll message you the day before every clean so you know when to expect me and can close any windows. I use a pure water reach pole system, so frames and sills are cleaned on every visit, not just the glass.

Regular cleans make a bigger difference than you’d think.
A few things can mean you’ll want more frequent visits:
Sills and frames are cleaned as standard on every visit.
One-off window cleans aren’t something I take on regularly. The focus is on regular customers with an ongoing schedule. That said, it can occasionally be arranged. There would be an additional fee on top of the standard price, because first cleans take significantly more time and effort than a regular visit: there’s often a lot of built-up grime on frames, sills and glass that needs working through properly. If a one-off is what you need, get in touch and I can let you know whether it’s something I can fit in.
8-weekly is my standard, and in my experience it’s the right cadence for maintaining clean windows at most properties. If your situation is a bit different, whether you’re on a particularly dusty road, you have a specific requirement, or you just want a chat about what would work best for your home, just get in touch and we can have that conversation. And of course, if you want to add fascia cleaning or gutter emptying, I can do those at the same time.

Frames, sills, corners: the bits other cleaners miss. I notice the things you’d notice yourself.
Not a franchise. It’s always me. I’ll message you the day before every clean.
No chemicals, no residue. Frames and sills get cleaned in the same pass as the glass.
Not happy? I’ll come back and sort it, no fuss, no charge.
