From the High Street to Kingshill and the streets around The Lawn
Old Town has more character than most parts of Swindon - Victorian and Edwardian terraces along Bath Road and the streets running off the High Street, larger period properties around The Lawn and Kingshill, and pockets of newer infill alongside the older stock. A fair few homes have original sash windows, decorative stonework or older paintwork that doesn't take kindly to harsh chemicals or careless ladders against the frames.
